Public access – it isn’t just for Americans

In fact, it should be considered an international human right, according to a declaration by a global conference of access advocates in February.

Access advocates from around the world – 125 strong from 40 different countries – met at the International Conference on the Right to Public Information held in February at the Carter Center (former President Carter’s organization) in Atlanta. The delegates came up with a plan to promote access all over the globe. You can read the plan by clicking below:
