As several news outlets reported [The Indiana Citizen, The Indiana Lawyer, Indiana Public Radio], the Indiana Supreme Court was hearing the case of Family & Social Services Administration vs. Robert E. Saint that would impact certain types of public records, deliberative material, and their disclosure.

The Court, in its wisdom, stated that the white paper was a deliberative material:

Because we find the deliberative material exception does not apply, we affirm the trial court’s order requiring the disclosure of the White Paper.
