Indiana Coalition for Open Government and the Indiana Professional Chapter of Society of Professional Journalists marked Sunshine Week 2015 with a symposium to discuss the state of open government data in Indiana. Titled “Digital Transparency in Government: What We Have and What We Need,” the discussion was held at IUPUI March 24, 2015.
Panelists included Indiana State Auditor Suzanne Crouch, Indiana Public Access Counselor Luke Britt, School of Public and Environmental Affairs Professor Beth Cate, and WCPO-TV (Cincinnati) data specialist Mark Nichols.
About 40 people attended the panel. ICOG has posted a video recording of the event on our YouTube channel, courtesy of our friends at WTHR-TV (Indianapolis). You can also look at Powerpoint slides from Prof. Cate (Digital Transparency in Government) and Auditor Crouch (Sunshine Review Panel Presentation).
ICOG thanks the panelists for their expertise, our co-sponsors at SPJ, and all who attended.
