Back in February, we told you that ICOG was serving as host for a coalition of citizen and media groups discussing the need for an independent commission to oversee statewide political debates in Indiana. Now we can report that those early meetings have resulted in the formation of the Indiana Debate Commission.

The Commission was formally kicked off with a press conference November 7 at the Indiana Statehouse.  You can read more about the Commission, its goals and participating organizations at the IDC Web site. You can also read the IDC press release and a Frequently Asked Questions page.
