Thanks for stopping by for a visit to ICOG’s online home. The website gives you access to information specific to Indiana’s public records and meetings laws. But it also connects you to a national network of open government coalitions under the umbrella of the National Freedom of Information Coalition.

You’ll find ICOG news highlighted in the slide show at the top of our home page as well as in our top menu. National FOI news is linked at the bottom of the home page and under the ICOG News tab on the top menu. Check out the Resources page for downloads, such as a template for making requests for public records in Indiana, and links to other online resources. You can use the search form at the top right to find previous articles by keyword. Also, you’ll find links to our Twitter feed prominently highlighted along the right side of our pages. Please follow us, and like us on Facebook while you’re at it.

While the resources here are free, we invite you also to become a member of ICOG, make a donation to support our work, or contact us to arrange for a speaker – and we hope you’ll do all of those things! Finally, we invite you to reach out and let us know about issues you’d like to see highlighted in this space. We want to hear about your experiences and struggles in the pursuit of public information. And we welcome submissions for guest blog posts.

Thanks again for visiting, and please feel free to give us some feedback about how we can make this site even better.
